THE WORLD OF ATHORIA

The Arknahlee language has been used in the land of Athoria since the first ages; since the rise of the 3 Elemental Giants. It is a language that had been lost in time for those whom wander the lands of Athoria. But, to those in the skies. The Riders. The speak the language to help their bond with the magnificent Barrimounts.

Not many others speak the language, or if they do, it is mostly broken. But, deep within Athoria. There is an ancient civilisation that still speaks the language. They just have no communication with the outside world.

The Great War began when Drescar was succumbed by the darkness. He seemed to conquer and overtake. Something that had been reborn within him from a darkness that came from the past. A thirst he needed to quench.

Prior to the Great War. Drescar stared an evil dead in the eyes. Thead had stood before him; giving him more power from the blackness that seeped from him.

Drescar only wanted to love; in the end, the distance drove him mad. Therefor, he stole something he couldn't have and many paid the price.

Prior to the Great War.

A mask had been made from an ancient wood that was carved out of the Dark Tree: Kaleoros. A power was embedded into it to seperate the spirits and thoughts of the loved ones that felt trapped in one body. Two souls intertwined through a bond unknown. It has been worn merely a couple of times, one of them by the Princess of Thrackin. From when she had to seperate the love she had for Drescar; tear it from her body. The stories tell that she wasn't right after the love had been taken from her, and in turn, losing that love... it also helped the madness strangle Drescar and the Great War to burn with a fire built on anger.

The History of Athoria is vast and most can be read in the Scriptures of Athoria.

Athoria will built upon by the hands of The One. He built the Giants and gifted them the abilities to build the Earth, Skies and Seas.

In time, they gifted beings of the land, seas and skies the ability to use a portion of their Essence. A gift to help protect the world from a darkness that began to overtake the world.

During the Second Age. The power of the Stormking truly blossomed into an evil power; thieving the gifts that had been given to the Storm Athorite. The Stormking kidnapped the gifted Fairy and drained her of her powers. He kept her captive for years. Draining her until she was nothing but skin and bone. He saving was thwarted by the death of the Athorite; the Stormking had been put into the ground... temporarily.

There was an old-wives-tale of the story of the Moons Tears. It was said that the moon would shed tears and send them dropping like rain to be buried into the ground of Athoria. Over time they would vanish and the moonlight that shone from them would fade. It was said that there was a hidden power to those in whom were able to father the tears that fell. But, no one has been able to in the 3-ages, to successfully gather them all to find out.
